In Response to Silent Barn

By Moiz K. Malik

The process of finding and paying for apartments is fundamentally broken. We’re going to do our best to solve that problem.

We curate the best local businesses to highlight the incredible work of small business owners that live and work in Brooklyn. We are deeply committed to helping people discover local businesses instead of large, national chains. We respect Silent Barn’s request to be removed from our website and have removed them from our website and neighborhood guide.

People need to find a place to live, and we’re committed to helping people move with new technology and great customer service.

Lastly, we are one of the very few companies that is working closely with the New York City Commission on Human Rights to draft training documents to insure our staff is in compliance with all Fair Housing practices. Nooklyn is an incredibly diverse company and we pride ourselves on our diversity and commitment to Fair Housing.
